A tiring process

I may have mentioned once before that I am a military spouse... This relates to that fact. On our move here we were 10,000 pounds over our allotted weight limit. Well since then I have really got into crafting and scrapping. In other words I have loaded our home down with even more stuff, including 247 cricut cartridges. (yup that is my total count currently.) well I came up with an idea to lighten the load. My dad is going to let us store all the stuff we want to keep but not haul around the world with us at his house. (Awesomely nice, right!). Well to lighten our load and organize stuff and give us more space i decided to digitize everything that I can. So today I started with my Cricut cartridge books. I got 58 of them so far scanned into my computer and then saved to a portable hard drive. And with all my carts on my Gypsy I should be good to store away all the stuff and save 150 pounds and space in the move. Yeah me. Then I have to digitize all my photos from before the digital camera was invented. And am thinking of digitizing a few of my reference books that still aren't on iBooks or kindle. I got a lot of work cut out for me...but to not burn myself out on it I am going to still take time to craft. Well I hope maybe this gave someone an idea of how to decrease their load of stuff and organize it digitally. Just make sure to store a back up or two of it all! :)
