I'm Back!

So I have been gone for a bit.  I still have been creating things...just busy.  We had a storm that came through a caused a lot of damage and flooded our basement.  Then we had to get the kids ready for school.  Plus I have been doing some home improvement projects.  So here are some of the crafty things I have done in between all that.  As you will see I now also am trying my hand at sewing.  First time I've sewen since the disaster of sixth grade home ec.  I also will be starting to take cake decorating classes in in a couple of weeks and just purchased a cricut cake machine...so I can't wait to share those projects with everyone.  And to top it off, I plan on starting a youtube series on how to do some fun creative things!  As soon as I get more followers I plan on doing some give aways.  So spread the word and follow me.  If anyone has questions please ask.  Enjoy and I hope you are inspired to create! :)

To start with, here is a quick, simple, cute card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday.  My youngest daughter helped me out.  :)

This next card I made for the owner of KK Sew and Vac II, in Appleton, WI.  That is where my husband bought me my awesome Baby Lock serger.  She made a slight error and showed beyond awesome customer service by correcting it and shipping me out over $300 of product at no cost to me.  I have never witnessed such honest, wonderful customer service before!  I highly recommend them if you are looking for a sewing machine or serger!!!!  This card I made and wrote a special note of thanks.  I will be a loyal customer forever!

Here is a birthday card I made for my daughter's friend.  I also decided to make her a book mark to put inside.

And here are pictures of the sewing projects I have worked on.  Please keep in mind I have not sewen since the disastrous backpack I made in sixth grade. lol

A dress for my baby girl

...and a matching one for her doll.

A baby quilt I made for my neighbors daughter.

A reversible purse my oldest daughter (15yrs old) and I worked on for her.
She did most of it...I just made the handle!
