This upcycled jean purse was made from my son’s old jeans.  As a special touch I embroidered a bee and butterfly on it to make it even more beautiful.

Memory Pillows

Here are the memory pillows that I made for my cousin’s family.  Hardest thing I ever had to sew. I cried the whole time. 

A Sad Few Years.

It’s been a rough couple of years filled with a lot of tears. My Father passed away on my husband’s 40th birthday. Then later that same year my uncle passed away on my 40th.  Then my cousin, who was more of a brother, died a few months later.  And to top it all off my husband was diagnosed at 41 with early onset Parkinson’s. So he was medically discharged from the military and we moved back home by family.  Very little crafting has been done with all that has happened.  I am slowly getting back into it.
